Bell times

Playground supervision operates from 8:30am each morning. Parents do not have to wait until the bell to say goodbye to their child. We encourage students to arrive in the mornings with some time to play with a friend and say goodbye while they are happy. If you need to drop your child off before 8.50am you may want to explore one of our before school extra-curricular activities or Out of School Hours Care (OSHC). Morning play is restricted to the COLA playground only.

A few minutes before 9:00am, music will begin to play and all students assemble at designated areas for each class to be collected by their class teacher. If your child is late they will need to go to the school office to sign in.

Two teachers are on duty at this time - one in each playground (Resort and COLA). We also have SLSOs ( School Learning Support Officers), and Play Pals at each playground

Students stay with the class teachers for the first ten minutes to eat lunch and are then able to play. Resort/Oval and COLA play areas are supervised by teaching staff.

There is no after school supervision, except for students catching school buses. Parents are advised to be on site at 3:00pm promptly to avoid causing anxiety for their child. If your child is not collected from the class pick-up spot by 3.10pm, they will be taken to the school office. There is no playing in the school grounds after school, the playspaces are often booked by our OSHC or Co-curricular providers.
